Ashvini's editorial-cartooning journey started with The Hindu where her strip 'Ecotism', was the first strip that spoke about sustainable development issues in that newspaper. After publishing 102 strips,  Ashvini continues to create cartoon-strips called 'Over-herd' for The Protected Area Newsletter. Today she also created a strip called 'Unfunny' which she published on her social media handles.
