Eye For Future
The Eye For Future Contest was announced by The International Advertising Association, India Chapter to help spread awareness regarding Diabetic Retinopathy.
We looked at media that mainly suited the 40+ year old audience, since they formed most of the patient demographics. The challenge was to target diabetic patients specifically. We tried to attain this by highlighting the word 'diabetes' itself. We also realized that the two 'e's and the 't' in the word looked like a face. Adding minimal eyeballs to these instantly gave the face some peculiar characteristics, which could be played with for each medium.
The campaign here features - print ads (suitable for newspaper and magazines), mirror-sticker ad, hoarding ad, a post-check-up tee-shirt and a TVC storyboard.
