I am Ashvini Menon - A Wildlife Artist, Cartoonist, Designer & Educator based in India.
I have been a design professional since 2015. For over 6 years, I led a multidisciplinary design studio focused on building sustainable visual design solutions - visual identities, illustrations, print & digital communication. I have also conducted workshops that bridge nature & art. That work has earned good-press, recognition, and straightened my belief that design, when - pointed at the right problems - is one of the most powerful tools we could have.
Since 2017, I've also authored editorial cartoon-strips - earlier published in The Hindu ('Ecotism' series) and now being published in the Protected Area Update ('Overherd'). These cartoon-strips are a visual take on recent environmental news.
Today I work with Wildlife, Conservation, Sustainability-focused Organisations & Initiatives to reach this common goal using communication design.
